Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. Lennox was able to survive on an allowance for students, and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox felt that her skills aren't the same as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative paths she could take. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She left the band before they appeared in I.T.V's talents show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. In this band, she was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox was working on her own debut record Diva. It came out in 1993. It became a huge hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career with her first album Diva in the year 1992. It was the basis of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album which was released in 1995, features versions of some of her most popular songs including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). She is credited with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation.
